Privacy at SignalBase
The AI client’s final answer is not automatically sent back to SignalBase. We receive only the requests needed for the current retrieval and do not read your complete chat history.
Your account
We process your username, email, verification status, membership permissions and sign-in sessions to provide access and account recovery.
Usage and points
We record request times, client identifiers, outcomes, usage counts, estimated tokens, authorization IP addresses and points transactions. Historical request logs may include research questions, request parameters and returned research content. New request logs retain the question, returned document and chunk identifiers, content fingerprints or reading versions, and necessary account, time and service information. They do not retain returned research body text or full tool parameters. Original user wording is recorded only when the connected client supplies it; this does not give us access to your complete chat history or the AI client's final answer.
Authorized administrators can review these records for support, security and service operation. Do not include passwords, access tokens or unrelated sensitive personal information in research requests.
Connected AI services
Research excerpts returned by MCP go to the AI platform you choose. That platform processes them under its own terms. Processing also depends on the search providers configured by SignalBase; do not assume that connecting MCP keeps all content on your device.
Account requests
For access, correction, account closure or privacy questions, contact the administrator who supplied your invitation. Account closure and data deletion are separate requests. Operational, research-request and security records are retained indefinitely by default and are not automatically deleted when an account is closed. Contact your administrator to request deletion; they will explain the applicable scope and any records that must be retained.
