Claude

  2. In the sidebar, open Customize → Connectors.
  3. Click plus (+) → Add custom connector.
  4. Set the name to SignalBase. Under Remote MCP server URL, enter:

  7. Enter your library username and password. On first sign-in, set a new password of at least 12 characters.
  8. Click Yes / Allow to authorize, then return to Claude.
  9. Start a conversation. Click the plus (+) → Connectors menu at the lower left of the message box, enable SignalBase, and send the sample question.
How do Team / Enterprise users connect?

An organization Owner opens Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web and adds the URL and OAuth settings above. Members then open Customize → Connectors, find SignalBase, click Connect, and authorize their own library account.

TRY YOUR FIRST QUESTION

Start with a question.

Once connected, send this to your chosen AI:

Using only SignalBase, list the five latest Bernstein reports with their dates, titles and authors.

If the AI calls the library and returns the report list, you are ready to ask your research questions.

KEEP A COPY

Two complete guides.

Save them to your computer or share them with another invited user.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions.

Where do I get my username and password?

Contact the person who invited you to SignalBase. Library credentials are provided separately from your OpenAI or Claude account. Public self-service registration is not currently available.

Why does sign-in open xuanagent.com?

SignalBase currently uses the existing xuanagent.com identity service. This is the expected authorization flow. Continue to use https://signalbase.fans/mcp as your MCP server URL.

Do I change my password on every platform?

No. All clients share the same library account and new password. Your temporary password is only for first sign-in. Do not send passwords in chat.

Do I reconnect when I change computers?

Codex and Claude Code usually store authorization on the current computer. Configure and sign in again on a new computer. Web connectors may follow your platform account; click Connect to authorize again if prompted.

What should I do if a connection fails?

Check that the URL includes /mcp, the Client ID matches the platform, and Client Secret is blank. If it still fails, send your inviter the client name, error text and time. Do not include passwords, tokens or callback URLs containing authorization codes.
